Sea Ranch Family Photos
I haven’t posted in forever, so this Sea Ranch Family Photos session seems the best to restart with :) You see, after having had a baby (in the beginning of this worldwide pandemic you might have heard of…), family photos became way more important to me. So much in fact that I’d like to shoot more and more of them. But not the posed kind (or not just). I want to shoot the candid, the “remember when our son fell face first in the sand on that Holiday?”, the big moments… and the small moments like how it felt to read a storybook each night. The normalcy. The precious moment that seem unimportant, but tells the story of your day to day life, and ultimately, your life. I want to capture that small hug, that was so fleeting you didn’t even notice, but really, it was your child saying “I love you”. I want to make last forever the moments that are heartbreakingly short. So here I am with this double family session – I’m saying I want to shoot more family photos, more Day in the life session, more birth stories. Because becoming a mom changed everything for me.
Those two families were long time friends and came to Sea Ranch for a holiday. They wanted to have memories of their time together and the kids playing. It was so funny to see them running around, falling quite a lot, and then going again! They found magic in the tree that had toys hidden inside it, they twirled around on the beach, searched for other treasures and ran toward the horizon in the ocean. It was pure bliss and I am thrilled to have been there for it all.
