Alexis and Gavin got married in The Boathouse of Prospect Park, Brooklyn last fall, a little before Halloween. There’s always something about Brooklyn, the light, the architecture, the… space! So Alexis got ready in the pretty impressive basement of this house (cf first photo). I wish I lived in an apartment like this one in Brooklyn. It’s so cliché, it’s awesome! But I gave up all the cool looking buildings and streets for the warmth and beauty of California. We can’t have it all (or can we?) So here is their wedding in the beautiful Boathouse :)

Alexis et Gavin se sont mariés à la Boathouse de Prospect Park à Brooklyn en Automne dernier, un peu avant Halloween. Il y a quelque chose de spécial au sujet de Brooklyn. La lumière, l’architecture… Et l’espace ! Alors Alexis s’est préparée dans l’impressionnante cave de la maison ci dessous. J’aurais adoré vivre dans un appartement comme celui-ci à Brooklyn. C’est tellement cliché, c’est génial ! Mais j’ai abandonné tous les superbes immeubles pour la chaleur et la beauté de la Californie. On ne peut pas tout avoir (ou le peut-on ?) Donc voilà leur mariage dans la magnifique Boathouse :)
