Barn Wedding at Olympia’s Valley Estate

Caitlin and Mark wanted a Barn Wedding at Olympia’s Valley Estate. I’d never shot at that venue before but any barn is always exciting!

Their goal was a laid-back and playful atmosphere and when they first visited venues, they loved the lush, open feel of OVE. The wedding happened on a beautiful, warm day, surrounded with the rolling Sonoma hills and dairy farms. In the evening, the Bay Area famous fog came to join us but we were already inside the barn so we didn’t care :)

I loved the natural vibe throughout the wedding and how Caitlin and Mark either laughed, cried or smiled every time I looked at them!

They had their first look under a willow tree and read each other’s letter and then, right before the ceremony, they took a moment with the bridal party to center themselves and I thought that was such a good idea – everyone should do it on their wedding day!

After the ceremony, they had a quiet moment just the two of them, and we took some time to try to go on the pond but after almost falling in, we decided to just get back to the cocktail hour :D

Oh, and also, they had a donut bar :D
