Mariage au Château d’Alphéran

Léa and Lillian got married in a french castle, le château d’Alphéran in the South of France, near Aix en Provence. Léa wrote me two years ago and I loved how her email was filled with little details about them and things they love. I felt like I knew them already and was so excited about working with them!

Léa is the eldest of five – two sisters and two brothers. I was so amazed by the complicity between them (and a little envious, I must say :D). I love seeing families that loving and caring.

She told me about the cranes she was folding for months before the wedding. It comes from a ancient Japanese legend promising that anyone who folds a thousand origami cranes will be granted a wish by the Gods. Some stories believe you are granted happiness and eternal good luck, instead of just one wish. Léa made all of hers for Lillian. One thousand little cranes for her then-fiancé. How romantic is that?

The wedding was great: We had the civil ceremony in Aix en Provence, walking streets smelling like lavender and up to a market near city hall. The second ceremony was in the Château d’Alphéran, a romantic venue that I love working at.

It was a wonderful day filled with hilarious people, family, and love and I’m thrilled I got to be part of it.
