Congratulations, you’re getting married! How about an outdoor wedding in Sonoma County?
If it’s not on your list of possibilities, it should definitely be. Moreover so when flowers are in bloom and hills are covered in rows of grapevine. The area is gorgeous for local and destination weddings, with a wonderful variety of gardens, wineries and barns to choose from.
Since I started shooting wedding, 12 years ago, I shot in a lot of different places. Yet, I never get tired of this view: rolling hills in the valleys of northern California. Also, you can count on good weather 90% of the time, which is more than most parts of the world!
A & S got married at this Garden venue in Sonoma, with all their friends and family. It was pre-covid, in case you’re wondering why you’re not seeing a single mask. I loved the flowers everywhere, their scent when you walked towards the aisle and the space, right behind, in the vineyards. It was a happy day, with an avalanche of laughter and people smiling. Also, they had macaroons :D
